Happy Dethemberween!

I hope the Dethemberween Thnikka Man was good to you this year!

I got some interesting things this year... most of which are unmentionable in the presence of theoretically innocent ears. Other than that, I got some scented candles, drawing and inking implements and a couple of bristol board pads. Oh, and Civilization IV with both expansions... so I'll stop borrowing my mate's computer(s) to play it. ^.^

In Other News

Work on my 3D model of the Furry Explorer continues to the exclusion of other projects. In addition to doing more texture work, I've been adding detail components to the model and, in the process, have succeeded in not only making the superstructure more ship-like but I've also learned a lot about ships in the process. My mate is wonderful with his books and knowledge of little but actually rather important things like where the boiler air intakes on a WWII battleship tend to be located. ^.^

Also, many thanks to my mate for adding a new "gimmick" to the ship. I'm not going to give anything away, since it will be featured in my new short story, but it has to do with keeping targets in the field of fire of the slow moving and limited elevation and traverse main gun... and makes for awesome visuals. ^.^

Other Than All That

Other than all that... well... um... Honestly that's all I've got for today.

I think you should improve your style, you know learning more about anatomy, posing etc. so fat it is looking a bit stiff. :|

I'm more of an author than an artist. This might have come out a bit more fluid had I not had two fingers on my drawing hand that I can't really move without serious pain. Having to use a 3D program for reference doesn't help much with stiffness either. The Victoria 3 model in DAZ is nice, but it's not very naturally muscled and proportioned. As for the "fat", that's kind of an illusion created by a padded suit and the lack of shading which might otherwise give it depth.

As for FA. What happens on FA... stays on FA.
